You're a what?
I do a lot.
I've been a professional graphic designer for over 15 years and an amateur one for much longer. (When I was 10, I traded design work for snacks.)
I've spent over a decade working in live performance and events as technical director, lighting designer, electrician, stagehand, and in many other roles including DJing in nightclubs and at raves.
I've led creative teams on work for hundreds of clients, from some of the top companies in the world to scrappy startups, from record labels to solo entrepreneurs.
I'm unceasingly fascinated by how things work. When I can, I take things apart. I've even gotten pretty good at putting things back together, though that's more difficult.
I believe learning is one of the best things anyone can do with their time. The point of learning is, of course, to share that knowledge with others. That's why I volunteer my time as a mentor.
I'm constantly exploring new software and emerging technology. I tinker with AI and machine learning, seek out new releases, and participate in beta tests so I can dive headfirst into finding the right tool to solve a problem.
